The Kehlsteinhaus can be reached by bus from Obersalzberg, Germany. The normal traffic has been closed since 1952, so visitors often park their cars at Obersalzberg and from there, the only way of transportaion is by riding a bus. Travelling up to Berchstesgaden is a bit scary since the zigzag road is very narrow and the buses are travelling right at the edge of the clip.
After riding a bus, visitors must have to walk through a secret passage or tunnel inorder to reach the top of the Kehlsteinhaus and then via an elevator that is bored straight down to the mountain (124 m or 407 ft long). At the top of the mountain are restaurants and souvenir shops, but it is now owned by a charitable institution. Such a breathtaking view once you are up there, so don't forget your cameras!
