The Christening Ceremony for Jazmine Kim Dohlin started exactly at 15:00 in Katolska Domkyrkan last Saturday, 3rd of October. Katolska Domkyrkan was the Swedish term for Catholic Church and it stood beside Medborgarplatsen in Stockholm, Sweden.
Everyone proceeded earlier at the church including our families, relatives, godparents and friends to witness the said ceremony. It was truly a significant event in my daughter's life and I really appreciated all their efforts and time, despite the cold and bad weather.
The ceremony took slightly shorter than what we expected. It was actually finished in less than 30 minutes. But a couple of minutes more was alloted to take some photos of Jazmine, together with the whole family, godparents and priest.
Reception followed immediately after the baptism ceremony. It was held at Nida Catering and Festvåning, which was located in Årstaängsvägen 13. The venue was not that far from the church, but still, it consumed a few more minutes of our time to get there. The reception was simple yet elegant. The food was great, so was the drinks.
In general, the party started and ended smoothly. It was nice to hear that most of the people who attended enjoyed the party. But on top of that, the fact that it's done, put our minds at ease. It was such a relief that everything went well. Cheers!
