First Summer in Sweden

I came here in Sweden last year, at the end of August. Since then, I started to look forward of hotter days. What I meant was Sweden's Summer Season.

It took months before summer came. Long months of waiting, but it paid off. It was wonderful! Swedish people seemed to be happier and were mostly out in the park, lying under the sun while drinking and partying with their families and friends.

We also spent 10 days in Kalmar. It was nice to spend some quality time with my husband's family and relatives, plus my sister and her husband, who travelled all the way from Denmark.

It was my first summer experience in Sweden. It was memorable, but quite too short.

I missed Philippines, especially the climate. Temperature was mostly around 25'C and rising above 30'C. The highest temperature that was recorded in Philippine weather history was 42.2'C. Oh, that was HOT!
